The conversion of the former Debrousse hospital in Lyon continued with the finalisation of the property programme. Seven small residential buildings were built in a landscaped park covering nearly 8 acres. Two of them, containing 38 low rent apartments, are located in the upper part of the property. In the lower part, 122 dwellings marked for sale overlook the city of Lyon.
The property programme was developed in order to integrate the architecture of the former Debrousee hospital and the surrounding park. The programme comprises terraces for all the apartments which blend with the vegetation.
The ALLAINE screw jack pedestal, the guarantee of simplicity and quality
For this high quality property development, the promoters chose ALLAINE screw jack pedestals to build all the terraces at garden level. Thus the 150/260 mm high screw jack pedestal allowed easy installation and compensated the differences in level in order to obtain straight terraces.
The 150/260 mm pedestal was installed in direct contact with the joist in order to receive the wood slats for the terrace. Adjustment under the joists is facilitated by an intermediate nut used to adjust the level to within a millimetre with the tightening spanner supplied in each package.
