Marketing of the 110 mm extension, adaptable on ALLAINE screw jack pedestals of heights 150 to 260 mm, started on Tuesday 27 January 2015. This extension is designed to widen the range of terrace slab supports already available, by offering pedestal heights up to 700 mm. Always very easy to use, this extension slots into the base of a 150/260 mm high screw jack pedestal and permits the screw and nut to lodge in the upper end of the extension.
Therefore the screw remains adjustable in height by using the tightening spanner and the nut.
Up to 4 extensions can be put together to provide the following heights:
. Screw jack pedestal 150/260 mm with one extension: continuously adjustable from 260 to 370 mm;
. Screw jack pedestal 150/260 mm with two extensions: continuously adjustable from 370 to 480 mm;
. Screw jack pedestal 150/260 mm with three extensions: continuously adjustable from 480 to 590 mm;
. Screw jack pedestal 150/260 mm with four extensions: continuously adjustable from 590 to 700 mm.

The 110 mm extension from ALLAINE has been tested in the same way as all the other products of the pedestal range to guarantee the product’s reliability and durability.
Thus once the extensions have been positioned on the pedestals of 150/260 mm height, they can resist a compression of more than 1,000 kg on the whole screw head.
